Pharmacological effects
1. Tetracycline antibiotics.By reversibly binding to the receptor on the bacterial ribosome 30S subunit, doxycycline interferes with the formation of ribosomal complex between
tRNA and mRNA, prevents the extension of peptide chain and inhibits protein synthesis, thus rapidly inhibiting bacterial growth and reproduction.Doxycycline can inhibit both
gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.The bacteria have cross-resistance to doxycycline and oxytetracycline.

Usage
